The custom home builder was looking for a company specializing in stained concrete floors for a unique and decorative installation, and AllStar Concrete Coatings was called to see if we could assist. After looking at multiple concrete flooring options, Allstar did multiple samples to get the colors and look they were trying to achieve. The floor needed to be beautiful and rustic while achieving great wear and life expectancy. 

Stained Concrete Floors Brownwood – Project Goals & Outcomes

Allstar Concrete Coatings was hired to apply scored and stained concrete floors in Brownwood, Texas. The floor was first cleaned and scrubbed, followed by the scoring of a custom pattern before the concrete was stained. A Texas star along with perimeter bands was scored to create separation from room to room, with multiple colors used to achieve a decorative concrete finish that was unique to this project.  After the concrete was stained, Allstar cleaned and applied a solvent-based wax coat application to create a natural, rustic appearance. The finish was then buffed with a special brush pad for better shine and longevity as the final finish.
