Metallic Epoxy Floor–Dripping Springs

The general contractor was looking for a metallic epoxy floor company that could meet the demands of the project for a unique and durable floor option, and AllStar Concrete Coatings was called in to see if we could help. After the owners had decided on a metallic epoxy floor finish, Allstar did multiple samples to get the colors and look they were trying to achieve. The floor had been optioned to receive a final topcoat for additional wear and life expectancy.

Project Goals & Outcomes

Allstar Concrete Coatings was hired to apply a multi-colored metallic epoxy on a 7000 sq ft collector car barn in Dripping Springs, Texas. The floor was first ground for adhesion purposes along with crack repair, followed by an application of a black epoxy primer coat. Cracks were then treated and filled with a trowel-able epoxy mixture and then sanded to leave a smooth surface. Gray colors and silver were used to then create more variation and movement, achieving a one-of-a-kind concrete floor. A polyurethane topcoat was used for better chemical resistance and longevity.

Once the project was complete, both the owner’s representatives and the builder were extremely happy with the look of the floor. Not only was the epoxy floor beautiful, but it will also last for years to come with little to no maintenance.
