AllStar Concrete Coatings was contracted to handle a special project—over 15,000 square feet of deteriorated concrete in a manufacturing facility in Temple, TX. After speaking with numerous other commercial flooring subcontractors, the owner chose AllStar’s product offerings, as they offered a better warranty, superior performance, and the look the customer wanted to achieve.

Concrete Polishing Temple Goals & Outcomes

The general contractor needed to find a concrete polishing company that could handle a project of this size and scope. AllStar was not only able to take on the project but also able to provide a concrete grinding alternative that required less maintenance and provided a longer-lasting concrete floor. After doing an aggressive grind on the concrete areas, we grouted and densified to harden and dustproof the floor. We then started our concrete polishing process and went from 100-1500 grit diamond pads to achieve a glossy sheen. A final application of polished concrete sealer was added for more protection against staining. The result was a very exposed aggregate look that the clients were very pleased with.

Once the project was complete, the property owners were very satisfied that we were able to meet their goals. Not only will the product not peel or flake like traditional epoxy paint or epoxy coatings, but also the maintenance over time will be significantly less than some other concrete polishing alternatives.
